Joy, Unity and God at Work in Trichy-Tanjore

A small team from the Diocese of Leicester recently travelled to our Link Diocese of Trichy‑Tanjore in the Church of South India (CSI) to strengthen long-standing partnerships, share ministry expertise, and deepen intercultural connections. The visit - our first since the Covid pandemic - was Intercultural and Intergenerational Ministry in action, a reconnecting of communities, with the group returning to Leicester feeling spiritually inspired and energised.

Lay Ministers - a Source of Hope and Beacons of God’s Presence in Our Diocese

Lay Minsters from all over the diocese in their many roles and with their varied gifts, came together in worship, fellowship and shared learning, bringing their questions and offering support and encouragement to one another. Around 50 lay ministers gathered on Saturday 7 March at St Martins House in Leicester for a packed programme.

Confetti-Covered Celebration of Continued Ministry

Earlier this month, a service of institution and induction was held in the diocese for The Reverend Colin Resch as Vicar of the United Benefice of Mountsorrel Christ Church and Mountsorrel St Peter. The joyful service marked the continued commitment to the shared ministry of God in Mountsorrel.
