The aim behind Minster Communities is to establish a sustainable and mission-focused foundation for the worshipping communities across our diocese. The Minster Communities framework was the product of the Shaped by God Together process and was approved by Diocesan Synod in October 2021. Read more about Shaped by God Together.

The whole diocese has been invited into Minster Community formation process with areas at different stages. You can find updates about the different areas and their progress here.

The Future Shape of Ministry – Ministry Roles within a Minster Community

This will be a change to our current way of working as we move to ministry provision being both locally rooted and more widely shared across a Minster Community and gathered as a ministry team.
