It was a joy to welcome Bishop Bethuel Mlula, Bishop of Kiteto in our Tanzanian link diocese, to the Diocese of Leicester for several weeks during September. The main purpose of his visit has been to strengthen links with churches and schools in our diocese, while sharing the plight of the Kiteto Christian College (KCC) primary school.

Honouring the season of Creation, an eco-event was held in the Diocese of Leicester on Saturday (26 September), to mark 10 years of the Eco Church Award and continue the conversation as to how we, as church communities, can care for God’s creation.

Members of the Vale of Charnwood Minster Community recently came together for a celebratory ‘launch’ service in thanksgiving for this newly formed Minster Community. The Church of All Saints, Thorpe Acre, was packed with people representing the breadth and diversity of the minster parishes, united in worship and gratitude for the faith, companionship and gifts shared across their worshipping communities.
