We are pleased to announce that the following people have been commissioned as the Lay Ministry Council from May 2026 until April 2027:
We are pleased to announce that the following lay ministers have renewed their licences from 23 May 2026 and are all valid until 31 May 2029.
With grateful thanks for his ministry in this area, we announce that The Venerable Richard Trethewey, Archdeacon of Leicester, will be relinquishing the role of Chair of the Diocesan Advisory Committee for the Care of Churches, with effect from 31 August 2026.
We are pleased to announce that The Revd Steve Bailey, currently Team Rector in the Benefice of Oadby Great Glen, and Area Dean of Gartree Deanery, also as Assistant Archdeacon.
It is with sadness that we announce the death of Mrs Cynthia Webb, on 18 April 2026.
