We are pleased to announce that The Revd David Cowie, Rector in the Wigston Benefice, has been appointed also as Assistant Area Dean of the Gartree Deanery for a period of 3 years, until 30 September 2029.
The Venerable Richard Trethewey, Archdeacon of Leicester, will commission David, along with the Revd Alison Iliffe as Area Dean of Gartree, on Wednesday 30 September at 7.30pm at the Gartree Deanery Synod.
We are very grateful to David for taking on this role and for all he will give in this area of his ministry.
