It is with sadness that we announce the death of The Revd Christine Blodwell, aged 80, on 8 June 2026.
Christine was ordained in the Diocese of Chester in 2005, serving as a Non-Stipendiary Minister at All Saints Marple until her retirement in 2015. Christine held the Bishop’s Permission to Officiate in this Diocese from 2017 until 2026.
She leaves behind three adult daughters, Louise, Judith, and Rebecca.
Christine’s funeral is to be held on Monday 6 July 2026 at 11am, at St John the Baptist Church Billesdon, to which all are welcome.
