It is with sadness that we announce the death of Mrs Evernice Tirivanhu, aged 62, on Thursday 16 April 2026.
Evernice was a Licensed Lay Minister in the Diocese of Leicester, as an Evangelist in the Benefice of The Martyrs from 2015 until she was licensed as a Reader in 2022, later serving as a Reader and Associate Minister in the Benefice of Humberstone and Thurnby Lodge from 2022. Evernice also served on Deanery and Diocesan Synod between 2017 and 2021.
Evernice is survived by her beloved siblings, Eddy, Lucky, and Cynthia, three adult children, Felicity, Bridgette, and Ryan, and five grandchildren, Adeline, Millicent, Riley, Ariel, and Leony.
Evernice was a deeply faithful servant of God and a much-loved member of Christ Church Thurnby Lodge. Her commitment, warmth, and dedication to the life of the church will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Evernice’s funeral is to be held at Christchurch Thurnby Lodge at 3pm on Thursday 23 April 2026, to which all are welcome. You are invited, at Evernice's request, to come along in bright colours, if you can.
